Eckert Seamans Welcomes Associate Stephen Pemberton to Utilities and Telecommunications Practice

National law firm Eckert Seamans has welcomed Stephen M. Pemberton as an Associate in the Utilities and Telecommunications practice groups. He joins the firm’s Philadelphia office from Vicente LLP.
Pemberton has experience advising on cannabis business licensing, franchising, land use and zoning, regulatory compliance, and transactional matters. He has served as lead counsel in New Jersey municipal litigation, as well as researched varied regulatory, licensing, and franchising matters related to cannabis. Prior to joining private practice, he served as an attorney advisor with the Federal Mine Safety and Health Review Commission. Pemberton holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.A. in Political Science from Rutgers University.
