Report: The Future of Geothermal in Pennsylvania

Eckert Seamans’ Rachel Winfield Karstetter is among the contributing authors to “The Future of Geothermal Energy in Pennsylvania: Leveraging the Commonwealth’s Legacy of Energy Leadership,” a collaborative report backed by Project InnerSpace and Penn State University examining the prospects for geothermal energy to contribute meaningfully to energy utilization in Pennsylvania.
A chapter co-authored by Rachel and Villanova University School of Law Professor Todd Aagaard discusses the principles for addressing the ownership of geothermal resources and the rights of property owners.
