Mary B. Levine

Overview
Mary Levine an associate in the firm’s Mass Tort Litigation Group. Prior to joining Eckert Seamans, Mary focused on insurance defense, specifically first-party property insurance and subrogation recovery. Mary has experience advising on the various aspects of litigation, including drafting motions for summary judgment and motions to dismiss, among other litigation documents; producing coverage opinions and research letters; reviewing insurer claim files and documents; and engaging in settlement communications and negotiations.
Mary earned her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School, where she served as the Associate Executive Editor for the Suffolk Journal of Trial and Appellate Advocacy, and as a member of the Moot Court Honor Board. While in law school, Mary also worked as a teaching assistant to the Director of Legal Research and Writing, assisted constitutional and international law professors as a research assistant, taught high school students’ constitutional law as a Marshall Brennan Fellow, and served as a Mass. S.J.C. Rule 3:03 Student Attorney in the Juvenile Defenders Clinic.
