National law firm Eckert Seamans has been awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by Captain Ian R. Edmonston with the HHC, 1st Brigade, 78th Training Division of the U.S. Army Reserves. The Certificate was awarded for the unwavering support Eckert Seamans offered Boson-based Associate Courtney Richards as she recently attended WAREX 78-23-02, a multi-echelon, multi-functional exercise designed to improve Soldier proficiencies and ready the force for Large Scale Combat Operations (LSCO) against a near peer threat.

Richards has served in the U.S. Army for more than 12 years, including serving on active duty from 2011-2015 and deploying to Afghanistan from 2012-2013. She joined the U.S. Army Reserves in 2015 and transferred to the Judge Advocate General Corps in 2022, where she currently serves as the Brigade Judge Advocate for 1st Brigade, 78th Training Division as the advisor to the Commander, handling all administrative law and military justice matters for the command. At Eckert Seamans, Richards concentrates her practice on mass tort litigation matters including asbestos and product liability. Her experience encompasses various phases of litigation and trial preparation, including discovery and motion practice.

Eckert Seamans is honored to support the attorneys and professional staff at our firm who have served and are currently serving across all branches of the U.S. military. Our Veterans play an integral part in the operation and continued success of our firm, and we are dedicated to supporting them within the firm community while they fulfil military duties.
