AMERICAN EAGLE AIRLINES, INC. TO CHANGE NAME TO ENVOY AIR, INC.

On February 7, 2014, American Eagle Airlines, Inc. filed an Application for Registration of Name Change and Reissuance of Certificates of Public Convenience to change its name to Envoy Air, Inc. American Eagle has requested the change become effective on April 15, 2014. Once the certificates are reissued under the name of Envoy Air, Inc., the carrier plans to request that DOT register the trade name “American Eagle” in connection with services Envoy Air, Inc. will perform on behalf of American Airlines, Inc. The name change request is for a change in corporate name only and will not constitute a substantial change as defined in 14 C.F.R. Part 204.6. The new name will not otherwise effect the carrier’s operations, ownership, or management.
