Overview

Samantha McDowall focuses her practice on a wide variety of commercial litigation matters in federal and state courts.

Before joining Eckert Seamans, Samantha served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Pam B. Jackman Brown and the Honorable Joseph Risi of the Supreme Court of New York, Queens County, where she focused on commercial and general litigation matters.

While in law school, Samantha was a member of the Moot Court Executive Board, President of the Black Law Students Association, and Treasurer of the National Black Law Students Association. During her tenure in law school, she was a judicial extern for the Honorable Leonard B. Austin of the Supreme Court of New York, Appellate Division—Second Department, and a summer law clerk in the United States Department of Commerce.

Before law school, Samantha was part of the property and casualty insurance industry.
