Potoula P. Tournas

Overview
Potoula Tournas focuses her practice in the areas of commercial litigation and financial services litigation, including representing clients before state and federal district courts in business disputes ranging from real estate litigation, contract claims, unfair trade practice claims, commercial foreclosures and general civil and commercial litigation matters. She joins Eckert Seamans from a Connecticut based law firm where she provided critical support during pre-trial motion practice, discovery disputes, and alternative dispute resolution.
During law school, Potoula interned with the Honorable Alfred V. Covello in the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. She also served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal and was an active member of the Mock Trial Society. Prior to law school, Potoula worked in New York as a Litigation Paralegal at a leading international law firm.
Potoula proudly serves on the firm’s Pro Bono Committee and the Women’s Initiative at Eckert as our Boston office representative.
