Overview
Patrick Carlson focuses his practice on various corporate matters, with a strong focus on commercial real estate and securities regulation. He represents real estate developers and investors in the acquisition and disposition of various forms of commercial real estate, including hotels, residential apartments and industrial warehouses. He has assisted with the negotiation of purchase and sale agreements, ancillary closing documents, management agreements, operating agreements, franchise agreements and various other agreements in relation to the acquisition or disposition of commercial real estate.
Patrick also assists clients in complying with complex federal and state securities regulations, including but not limited to exempted securities under Regulation D of the Securities Act of 1933.
In addition to his real estate and securities practice, Patrick assists clients in negotiating various forms of commercial contracts and leases, forming new business entities, and providing general business guidance.
