Kevin F. Farrington



Kevin focuses his practice in the areas of commercial litigation and professional liability. Kevin has zealously and diligently served his clients both prosecuting and defending claims.

In the corporate and commercial arena, Kevin has broad experience in representing individual and corporate clients in complex, multifaceted corporate and commercial litigation, including breach of contract actions, class actions, banking litigation, and construction litigation as well as experience defending clients in the financial services industry involving the Fair Credit Reporting Act and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

Additionally, Kevin regularly defends medical professionals including physicians, hospitals, nursing homes, and health care systems, as well as health insurance companies against liability claims in virtually every setting in which those claims arise.

Kevin is involved in all areas of case management and phases of litigation. Kevin drafts pleadings, prepares and responds to discovery, prepares motions, prepares witnesses for deposition and trial testimony, retains and works with expert witnesses, and participates in trial preparation, trial and arbitration, mediation, and settlement negotiations.

Prior to joining Eckert Seamans, Kevin was an associate at a Philadelphia-based law firm. During law school, Kevin was a certified legal intern with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office where he gained valuable courtroom experience conducting numerous municipal court trials and felony preliminary hearings. Kevin served as an Executive Editor of the Drexel Law Review and was a member of the Drexel Trial Team.

Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife and twin boys in the outdoors fishing, running, and hiking. He and his family enjoy rooting for Penn State football and all Philadelphia sports teams
