Heather Stone Fletcher Joins Eckert Seamans’ Employee Benefits Practice

Eckert Seamans Cherin and Mellott, LLC, a full-service national law firm, recently announced that Heather Stone Fletcher has joined the Pittsburgh office as an Associate in the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice. She joins the firm from Proskauer Rose LLP in Washington, D.C.
Fletcher focuses her practice on compliance, regulatory and legislative matters affecting employee benefit plans. She represents clients in matters before the Internal Revenue Service, Department of Labor and the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation. She is experienced in a wide-range of tax and benefit issues including day-to-day welfare and retirement plan compliance matters, health care reform, plan drafting and documentation, ERISA fiduciary duties, health care continuation coverage, prohibited transactions, executive compensation, and HIPAA issues.
Fletcher earned her JD from the George Washington University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from The Pennsylvania State University. She is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia.
