Eckert Seamans Welcomes Potoula P. Tournas to Boston Office

Eckert Seamans is pleased to welcome Potoula P. Tournas to the firm’s Boston office. Tournas is an associate in the Commercial Litigation and Financial Services Litigation practice groups, representing clients before state and federal district courts in business disputes ranging from real estate litigation, contract claims, unfair trade practice claims, commercial foreclosures and general civic and commercial litigation matters.
She joins Eckert Seamans from a Connecticut based law firm where she provided critical support during pre-trial motion practice, discovery disputes, and alternative dispute resolution.
During law school, Potoula interned with the Honorable Alfred V. Covello for the of the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. She also served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal and was an active member of the Mock Trial Society. Prior to law school, Potoula worked in New York as a Litigation Paralegal at a leading international law firm.
Tournas earned her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law and her B.A. from Northeastern University.
