Eckert Seamans welcomes Laura DelFratte to Pittsburgh office and Business Division

Eckert Seamans is pleased to welcome associate Laura DelFratte to its Pittsburgh office and Business Division. She focuses her practice in the areas of tax and estate law. She is skilled in the preparation and review of complex tax returns for estates, trusts, businesses, and individuals. DelFratte also has significant experience in business valuation and the administration of estates and drafting estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, grantor retained annuity trusts, insurance trusts, durable and springing powers of attorney, health care powers of attorney, and living wills. She also prepares, analyzes, and provides guidance to clients on corporate documents.

DelFratte is a Certified Public Accountant and is Accredited in Business Valuation. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Prior to joining Eckert Seamans, she was a tax manager at a large public accounting firm.

DelFratte earned her J.D. and M.B.A. in 2008 from the University of Pittsburgh, where she served as associate editor of the Tax Review. She earned her B.S. in accounting in 2004 from The Pennsylvania State University.
