Eckert Seamans Welcomes Eric Brill

Eckert Seamans is pleased to welcome Eric Brill to the firm’s Pittsburgh office. He focuses his practice on a broad range of commercial litigation matters.

During the course of his legal studies, Brill served as a legal intern in the U.S. Department of Education Office of the General Counsel. He assisted attorneys in the Divisions of Business & Administrative Law and Educational Equity with a variety of matters pertaining to employment litigation, procurement and Title VII and ADA violations. Brill also interned with the General Services Administration Office of the General Counsel. He assisted attorneys in the OGC’s General Law Division in offering legal advice and litigation services to all GSA service and staff offices, particularly in the areas of labor, civil rights and procurement.

While in law school, Brill was a member of the Moot Court and Alternative Dispute Resolution Boards. He was also a member of the Public Contract Law Journal, which published his Note on improving green public procurement practices in the summer 2021 issue. He was also a Dean’s Fellow and Research Assistant for the Foundations of Lawyering program.

Brill is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania. He earned his J.D. from the George Washington University School of Law (2021) and an undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from Allegheny College (2017).
