Eckert Seamans welcomes Elizabeth S. Dillon as an associate in the firm’s Boston office and Commercial Litigation Group

Eckert Seamans is pleased to welcome Elizabeth S. Dillon as an associate in the firm’s Boston office and Commercial Litigation Group. She focuses her practice on commercial litigation matters, specifically in the areas of construction and employment litigation. In her construction litigation practice, Dillon represents owners, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, developers, sureties and financial institutions in complex construction, real estate and general commercial disputes. In her employment practice, Dillon has represented individuals and management in a broad range of employment-related matters including harassment and discrimination, retaliation, whistleblowing, wage and hour, family and medical leave, non-compete agreements, breach of fiduciary duty, defamation, private-owned company ownership disputes, and the negotiation of employment contracts and severance agreements.
Dillon represents her clients in state and Federal courts, as well as before the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, the Massachusetts Civil Service Commission, and the Massachusetts Department of Unemployment Insurance.
Dillon is active in the Massachusetts Bar Association Young Lawyers’ Division, where she has served on its Board of Directors since 2015. Dillon frequently volunteers with the American Bar Association’s National Appellate Advocacy (moot court) competition and has served as a judge for Boston College’s Advocacy Programs and the Yale Mock Trial Invitational.
Dillon earned her J.D., cum laude, from Washington University School of Law in 2011 and her B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania in 2006.
