Eckert Seamans welcomes Carolyn O. Boucek to Pittsburgh office and Litigation Division

Eckert Seamans is pleased to welcome associate Carolyn O. Boucek to the firm’s Pittsburgh office and Litigation Division. She concentrates her practice in the area of litigation and is experienced in the creation of critical case documents, including complaints, written discovery, pre-trial statements, and motions in a variety matters, including medical malpractice, professional negligence, product liability, property disputes, and premises liability. Boucek also has experience assisting in general litigation matters involving the Health Care Quality Improvement Act, toxic torts, higher education law, and class action lawsuits.
While in law school, she received the CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in International Criminal Law and in Constitutional Law of the European Union.
Boucek earned her J.D. in 2017 from Cornell Law School, where she served as managing editor of the Journal of Law & Public Policy. She earned her B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh in 2014. She is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, the Allegheny County Bar Association, and the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association.
