Eckert Seamans Richmond-based Member Karen Elliott Honored Among 2023 Influential Women of Law by Virginia Lawyers Weekly

Karen S. Elliott, a Richmond-based Member with national law firm Eckert Seamans, has been recognized among the 2023 class of Influential Women of Law by Virginia Lawyers Weekly. The program honors women attorneys and judges for their excellent work on behalf of the justice system and for their clients, their commitment to their communities, and their service to the profession.
Elliott focuses her practice on labor and employment and commercial litigation matters, advising clients of all sizes from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies in industries including healthcare, construction, travel and entertainment, fast food, and retail. She is an experienced trial lawyer and assists clients with navigating the wide range of employment laws in and outside of court. Elliott has also served as an independent investigator for employers facing complex and serious discrimination claims.
Elliott is extremely active in the legal and business communities, serving as Labor and Employment Subcommittee Chair for the Virginia Chambers of Commerce; as a Member of the Society of Human Resources Management; and as Legislative Affairs Director for the Richmond Society for Human Resource Management. She and the other awardees will be celebrated at an awards event in Richmond on May 25.
