Eckert Seamans Expands Aviation Practice with Arrival of Washington, D.C. Associate Amanda Geary

National law firm Eckert Seamans has added Amanda Geary as an Associate in the Aviation practice group. She joins Eckert Seamans’ Washington, D.C. office having most recently served as an attorney advisor at the Federal Aviation Administration’s Office of the Chief Counsel.

In her role with the Federal Aviation Administration, Geary advised on regulatory and statutory compliance for airmen certification and aerospace operations. She also has experience serving as a federal judicial law clerk for the U.S. District Court of New Mexico, where she worked on civil litigation matters including discovery disputes, pre-trial hearings, dispositive motions, jury and bench trials, post-trial motions, fee disputes, and settlement enforcements. Geary earned her J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law and her B.A. from Allegheny College.
