In CNN Business, employment lawyer Walter Foster discussed the fallout of accusations of gender discrimination, sexual harassment, and unequal pay at gaming industry giant Activision Blizzard, which is likely to have ripple effects not only across the gaming world but also the tech industry and corporate America at large. “The allegations brought by the California state department [are] seminal, and probably bellwether type litigation for this industry,” Foster said. “It’s being brought by a state agency, so they have the resources of the state. They don’t invest in those litigations until they know they have a good case. … You take a case to make an example.”
