The amended Massachusetts Equal Pay Act, effective as of July 1, 2018, mandates that Mass. employers provide equal pay for “comparable work.” During interviews, employers will no longer be able to inquire about a candidate’s past salary history. Come learn about the Attorney General guidance implementing this new law and some practical Do’s and Don’ts. Every business owner, manager, or human resources professional needs to know about the obligations under the new law when conducting interviews.
