Spotlight on . . . Gabriel Dym

Gabriel Dym joined the firm’s Boston office in 2012. A Boston-native, he and his family have called Needham, Massachusetts, their home for the past five years. He and his wife Rachael have three kids, two boys (7 and 4-years old) and a baby girl whom they just welcomed to the family earlier this month.
Gabe has significant experience in all phases of complex litigation. He represents corporate and individual clients in state and federal trial and appellate courts, administrative proceedings, and at arbitration and mediation. Gabe represents and counsels businesses in state and federal government investigations. In addition to his litigation practice, Gabe represents business and individual clients on a broad array of transactional and operational issues, including those in connection with hiring, discipline, terminations and workforce reductions, compliance, the creation of workplace policies, procedures and manuals, and in various contractual and licensing matters. He also represents real estate clients in the acquisition, disposition, leasing, construction, financing, and permitting of commercial property. Prior to joining private practice, Gabe served as an assistant district attorney in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, prosecuting criminal cases in courts throughout the county.
Q&A
What led you to pursue a career in law?
When I worked on Capitol Hill, many of the staffers doing interesting work were attorneys. I decided to apply to law school and, at the time, anticipated returning to D.C.
What do you enjoy most about your practice?
Problem-solving. I enjoy collaborating with clients to work through difficult issues.

Do good work, efficiently, and clients will find you.
What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
