The Complex Class Action Litigation Group at Eckert Seamans is a premier complex litigation practice comprised of experienced litigators who have hands-on experience in implementing and determining national strategy and media relations, coordinating discovery in numerous class action and MDL proceedings, locating and developing expert witnesses to provide consistent well-grounded opinions and testimony, successfully pursuing pretrial Daubert hearings and dispositive motions and bringing cases to trial in key jurisdictions.  Our attorneys are involved in a wide range of litigation arising under federal and state laws, including the defense of corporations and their directors and officers and outside advisors in class action and derivative lawsuits under state and federal fraud and securities laws, including actions alleging false and misleading statements and violations of Section 10(b) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.  Our attorneys are also experienced in product liability and mass tort defense as well as in related insurance coverage litigation.  Effective use of trained paralegal and support staff and the latest litigation support technologies helps to keep litigation costs to a minimum while maximizing productivity and effective use of our substantial litigation resources.
