Eckert Seamans Member Dacia A. Haddad begins term as president of the Pennsylvania Association of Bond Lawyers

Dacia A. Haddad, a member (partner) of Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott, LLC, just began her term serving as President of the Pennsylvania Association of Bond Lawyers. PABL is a statewide association of public finance attorneys with over 130 members throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Haddad, who is based in Philadelphia, focuses her practice on municipal and public finance matters. She represents issuers, banks, investment banks, borrowers, and interest rate swap providers in all aspects of public finance transactions. She provides advice with respect to structuring, re-structuring, offering, selling or placing, and issuing tax-exempt and taxable bonds, derivatives, and post-issuance tax and securities law compliance. Haddad works on virtually all types of public finance transactions for clients across a variety of industries and sectors such as health care (including hospitals and continuing care providers), energy and utilities, education, higher education, infrastructure, and multi- and single-family housing.

She earned her J.D., with honors, and her M.P.A. from Rutgers University School of Law in 2000 and her B.A., with honors, from Rutgers University in 1996.
