Eckert Seamans Adds Attorneys to the Litigation Division in Boston and Philadelphia Offices
The national law firm of Eckert Seamans Cherin and Mellott, LLC today
announced that attorneys Daniel A. Leonardo and Christian A. Sado have
joined as Associates in the Litigation Division.
Daniel A. Leonardo, based in the firm’s Boston, Massachusetts office, focuses his
practice in the area of general commercial litigation. Prior to joining
the firm, Mr. Leonardo concentrated his practice in the area of commercial
litigation representing national financial and banking institutions in state and
federal courts in matters involving contract disputes, suits governed by the
UCC, TILA claims, FDCPA, and actions under the Unfair Trade Practices
Act. He also represented creditors in bankruptcy. Mr. Leonardo
is the Co-Chair of the legal arm for the Boston Chapter of the Association of
Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA). He is a graduate
of the College of the Holy Cross and Northeastern University School of
Law. Mr. Leonardo is licensed to practice in Massachusetts. He
is fluent in Spanish.
Christian A. Sado, based in the firm’s Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
office, focuses his practice on trademark litigation and enforcement, including:
trademark and trade dress infringement, dilution, and anti-counterfeiting
litigation before federal courts; handling oppositions and cancellations before
the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board; communicating with international counsel
regarding equivalent foreign proceedings; and managing enforcement efforts for
clients relating to their copyright, trademark and trade dress rights. Mr.
Sado’s experience also includes representations in copyright infringement
matters, patent infringement matters, the filing of trademark and copyright
applications and drafting of patent infringement and validity opinions. He
earned his law degree from the Temple University School of Law, his Masters of
Business Administration from the Temple University Fox School of Business and
Management and his undergraduate degree in Biology, magna cum laude, from
Drexel
University. Mr. Sado
is licensed to practice in New
York and before the Southern District of New York.
