Eckert Seamans Attorneys Featured in "Women in the Profession" Publication
Eckert Seamans attorneys Roberta Jacobs-Meadway and Wendy West
Feinstein were recently featured in the “Women in the Profession” supplement
to The Legal Intelligencer and Pennsylvania Law Weekly.
Ms. Jacobs-Meadway was recognized by the publications as one of the 25 Women
of the Year, an accomplished group of women that includes judges, corporate
counsel and public advocates. The publication noted that Ms. Jacobs-Meadway’s
newsworthy arrival to Eckert Seamans marked the resurgence of the firm’s IP
practice in Philadelphia. She and the other honorees
will be recognized at a luncheon on June 13, 2008 at the Center City Marriott in
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Ms. West Feinstein and nine other attorneys from across the Commonwealth were
selected by the editors of the publications to participate in a roundtable
discussion focused on the continuing concerns in the legal community, including
the hiring and retention of female attorneys and the perceived generational
conflict between senior women attorneys and their younger counterparts.
