Eckert Seamans' Attorneys Co-author Chapter in Defense Research Institute Book on Product Liability
The national law firm of Eckert Seamans Cherin and Mellott, LLC today
announced that firm members Albert G. Bixler and Dylan
J. Walker have co-authored the Pennsylvania chapter in a Defense
Research Institute book entitled "Product Liability Cases and the Duty to Warn:
A Fifty-State Compendium." The volume is part of DRI’s Defense Library
Series.
Mr. Bixler is a member in the firm’s Litigation Division. He serves as
Member-in-Charge of the Philadelphia office, and he is a member of the firm’s
Board of Directors. He represents clients in matters that range from
environmental claims to professional negligence and bankruptcy litigation.
He has extensive experience in products liability, toxic tort, class
action and mass tort matters. He received his law degree from the
University of Pennsylvania Law School, his master’s degree from the University
of California, and his bachelor’s degree from the University of
Pennsylvania.
Mr. Walker is a member in the firm’s Litigation Division. He has tried
cases on behalf of numerous Fortune 500 companies in both federal and state
courts and in arbitration proceedings. He has experience in a range of
litigation, including complex commercial transactions, class actions, mass torts
and products liability. He earned his law degree at Georgetown University
Law Center, and he received his bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University.
