Eckert Seamans Adds Attorney in Washington, DC Office
The national law firm of Eckert Seamans Cherin and Mellott, LLC today
announced that attorney Jennifer L. Andrews has joined the
firm’s Washington, D.C. office.
Jennifer Andrews joins as an Associate in the Business
Division. Ms. Andrews concentrates her practice in Aviation law.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Andrews was an associate with a Washington,
D.C.-based law firm. While there, she focused her practice on corporate
law, small business advising and government contracts. Before entering
private practice, Ms. Andrews served as law clerk to Associate Chief
Administrative Law Judge Thomas Burke, of the United States Department of Labor,
where she was responsible for drafting case decisions, orders, and responses to
motions in cases arising under the Black Lung Benefits Act, the Longshore and
Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, the whistleblower provisions of the
Sarbanes-Oxley Act and a variety of other employment statutes. Ms. Andrews
is admitted to practice in Georgia and the District of Columbia. Ms. Andrews earned
her law degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law in 2004 and her
undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia in 2001.
