Eckert Seamans' Scott Dismukes to Speak at NBI Workshop On Land Use Law and Regulation
The national law firm of Eckert Seamans Cherin and Mellott, LLC today
announced that Scott R. Dismukes, a member of the firm, will
present at the National Business Institute’s (NBI) workshop, “Complying with
Land Use Laws and Regulations,” on Monday, December 10th at the
Pittsburgh Omni William Penn Hotel, and on December 11th in Erie at
the Ambassador Banquet & Conference Center.
The workshop will provide the latest information and insights on how to
comply with current land use regulations. Attendees will include
attorneys, and business owners and managers charged with compliance with
regulations that range from zoning, noncomforming uses and environmental
laws. Federal, state and local laws will all be taken into
consideration.
Mr. Dismukes, who practices in the area of environmental law, will center his
presentation on ensuring compliance with environmental and special use
regulations. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and his law degree from the
University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He was assistant regional counsel,
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region V, and was a law clerk to the
Honorable Justin M. Johnson, superior court of Pennsylvania.
