The national law firm Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott, LLC today
announced that member John F. (“Jack”) Meck was among
Pittsburgh’s top 50 attorneys named
by Pennsylvania Super
Lawyers 2007. The list is compiled by
Philadelphia magazine and
Pennsylvania Super Lawyers magazine. A total of 25 firm attorneys
were named as Pennsylvania Super Lawyers this year, an honor determined by
surveying over 36,000 Pennsylvania
attorneys as part of a peer selection process. The
Top 50 list includes the lawyers within the Pittsburgh
area who received the highest point totals in the
Pennsylvania Super
Lawyers 2007 balloting, research and blue ribbon review process.
“As one of our most dedicated members, Jack makes significant contributions
and sets high standards in the profession,” said Tim Ryan,
Eckert Seamans’ Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Meck is a member in the Estates & Trusts Group at Eckert

emotional disputes in probate and trust litigation. Mr. Meck is listed in
the current and past editions of The Best Lawyer in

selected by his peers statewide in a joint project of Law & Politics
magazine and Philadelphia magazine. A Fellow of the
American College
of Trust and Estate Counsel since 1991, Mr. Meck is
a member of the Fiduciary Litigation Committee. He also is the State Chair
