Eckert Seamans Adds Attorney in Harrisburg Office
The national law firm of Eckert Seamans Cherin and Mellott, LLC today
announced that attorney Ryan B. Caboot has joined the firm as an Associate in
the firm’s Business Division.
Ryan B. Caboot concentrates his practice in the areas of
insurance regulatory compliance and general corporate matters. Prior to
joining Eckert Seamans, Mr. Caboot served as Department Counsel in the
Pennsylvania Insurance Department’s Office of Chief Counsel where he handled,
among other things, a variety of insurance regulatory matters pertaining to
corporate transactions, company financial solvency, company and producer
licensing, market conduct examinations, enforcement actions, surplus lines,
statutory and regulatory initiatives, Right to Know Law requests and appeals,
contracts and procurements. Mr. Caboot received his law degree from the
Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania
State University
in 2001. He received his Bachelor of Arts
degree, magna cum laude, in History and his Bachelor of Science degree,
also magna cum laude, in Criminal Justice from the
University of Scranton
in 1998. Mr. Caboot is a member of the
Pennsylvania Bar Association and has served as a mentor for the Governor’s
Office of General Counsel Summer Mentorship Program and the Dickinson School of
Law Mentorship Program. He also volunteers at the Dauphin County Pro Bono
Custody Clinic and serves as the 29th Street
Church Director of Music. He is admitted to
practice law in Pennsylvania and
before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania
and the United State Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Mr. Caboot
resides in New Cumberland.
