Eckert Seamans Expands Health Care Practice in Boston with Addition of Attorney Alexander
The national law firm of Eckert Seamans Cherin and Mellott, LLC today
announced that attorney Jeffery M. Alexander has joined the firm as a
member. Prior to joining Eckert Seamans, Mr. Alexander was a partner with
the law firm of Brown Rudnick.
As a member in the firm’s Health Care Practice Group, Jeffery M.
Alexander has decades of experience assisting taxable and tax-exempt health
care providers across the country with every aspect of health care law, from
day-to-day legal issues to pursuit of capital for their business
transactions. He is particularly versed in hospital, physician, and
physician-hospital corporate, regulatory, medical staff and accreditation
matters. Mr. Alexander is a frequent lecturer to hospital, physician,
academic and other professional audiences, and he has also taught at the
University of Rochester Medical School, Brown
University Medical
School, and the
University of
Connecticut Graduate and
Undergraduate Schools
of Business Administration. He is a member of
the American Health Lawyers Association. He earned his law degree from
Georgetown University
in 1980 and his Bachelor of Arts degree, graduating
summa cum laude, from Boston
University in
1977. Mr. Alexander is admitted to practice in
Massachusetts,
New York,
Florida, and Rhode
Island.
