Eckert Seamans Expands Labor and Employment Practice in Philadelphia with Addition of Attorney Quinn
The national law firm of Eckert Seamans Cherin and Mellott, LLC today
announced that attorney John E. Quinn has joined the firm as a
member. Prior to joining Eckert Seamans, Mr. Quinn was a partner with the
law firm of Reed Smith and was located in that firm’s

“John Quinn brings a wealth of experience to the table and will greatly
expand our capabilities in the area of labor and employment law,” said
Albert G. Bixler, the member in charge of the

Philadelphia metropolitan area has a
lot of traditional labor activity and his understanding the market and the local
issues that employers face is a great asset to the firm and its clients.
In addition, John will add to our ability to assist clients in connection with
everyday employment issues and employment-related litigation.” The chair
of the Eckert Seamans Labor and Employment Law Group, John
Myers, echoed Bixler’s comments and added that he is extremely pleased
that Quinn will be joining the firm’s labor group to enable a significant
expansion of the firm’s labor and employment practice in the
Philadelphia office.
As a Member in the firm’s labor practice area, John E.
Quinn will represent both organized and unorganized employers in all aspects
of employee relations. He has defended employers in federal and state

Act funds. John previously served as chair of the Hearing Committee of the
Disciplinary Board of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. He is also a member
