Attorneys Soffian and Vogel Join Eckert Seamans in Philadelphia
The national law firm of Eckert Seamans Cherin and Mellott, LLC today
announced that attorneys Warren L. Soffian and Warren
Vogel have joined the firm. Prior to joining Eckert Seamans, Mr.
Soffian was a partner with and Mr. Vogel was a name partner with and the senior
business lawyer of the Philadelphia-based law firm of Silverman Bernheim &
Vogel.
According to the managing partner of the Philadelphia
office, Albert G. Bixler, “The joining
of Warren Soffian and Warren Vogel will help us to better serve our clients in
the areas of estate planning and business in the Greater Philadelphia
region.”
Warren L. Soffian is a Member in the firm's Business Division.
He focuses his practice on business law, estate planning and administration and
litigation. Throughout his career, Mr. Soffian has been engaged in the
general practice of law, including the representation of regional and national
businesses as outside general counsel, complex civil litigation, and estate
planning and administration. He is a member of the Philadelphia Bar
Association, Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association and the Camden County Bar
Association. Mr. Soffian has lectured on behalf of the Philadelphia Bar
Association on the subject of Wills and Estate Planning. He earned his law
degree from the Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law in 1969 and his
Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from
Drexel University
in 1965. Mr. Soffian is admitted to practice
in Pennsylvania and
New Jersey. He resides in
Cherry Hill, New
Jersey.
Warren Vogel is a Member in the firm’s Business
Division. He focuses his practice on business law and estate
planning. Prior to joining Eckert Seamans, Mr. Vogel was a name partner
with and the senior business lawyer of the Philadelphia-based law firm of
Silverman Bernheim & Vogel. Mr. Vogel has represented local and
regional businesses as outside general counsel, handling transactional matters,
taxation, real estate and commercial lending and structured finance. He
also maintains a sophisticated estate planning and administration
practice. He is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, in which he
is a member of the section on corporate, business and banking law. He is
also a member of the American Bar Association subcommittee on tax matters as
well as its section of business law. Mr. Vogel is a member of the
Pennsylvania Bar Association’s task force on drafting limited liability company
documents, and he has been a featured speaker at Pennsylvania Bar Institute
seminars on the topic. Mr. Vogel was listed by Philadelphia Magazine
in 2004, 2005, and 2006 as being among
Pennsylvania's Super Lawyers in
the area of closely-held businesses. He earned his law degree from Temple
University School of Law in 1973, where he graduated cum laude, won the Corpus
Juris Secundum Award and served as editor of the Temple University Law
Quarterly, and he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from
Temple University
in 1970. Mr. Vogel is admitted to practice in
Pennsylvania. He resides in
Wyncote,
Pennsylvania.
