Twelve Eckert Seamans Attorneys Named Pennsylvania Super Lawyers "Rising Stars"
The national law firm Eckert Seamans Cherin and Mellott, LLC today announced
that 12 of its attorneys have been named Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising
Stars for 2006 by Philadelphia Magazine and Pennsylvania
Super Lawyers Magazine. The attorneys were selected for the honor,
which is determined through the independent research of Law &
Politics Magazine. Attorneys on the list must be 40 years old
or younger, or have practiced law for 10 years or less.
According to Law & Politics, the organization which publishes
Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Magazine, 2.5 percent of
Pennsylvania attorneys are honored
as “Rising Stars.” The Rising Stars list is published each year in the
December issue of Pennsylvania Super Lawyers-Rising Stars Edition .
“Eckert Seamans has taken a great deal of pride in attracting and
developing some of the finest young attorneys and brightest legal minds in
the field to lead our own firm in the years to come, and to serve as stewards
for the legal profession throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania,” said
Tim Ryan, Eckert Seamans’ Chief Executive Officer.
In Pittsburgh, eight attorneys
were named to the list: Jay T. Blount, Grant E. Coffield, Kathryn A.
English, Wendy West Feinstein, Daniel B. McLane, Cornelius J. O’Brien, Daniel P.
Orie and David A. Rockman.
In Philadelphia, three attorneys
were selected: Ronald S. Gellert, Rachel Castillo Rosser and
Dennis P. Ziemba. In
Harrisburg, Scott R.
Mehok was selected for the honor.
