Warren Vogel is a Member in the firm’s Business Division. He focuses his practice on business law, financial services and estate planning. Prior to joining Eckert Seamans, Mr. Vogel was a name partner with, and the senior business lawyer of, the Philadelphia-based law firm of Silverman Bernheim & Vogel.
Mr. Vogel has represented local and regional businesses as outside general counsel, handling corporate, commercial and real estate transactions, business combinations, acquisitions and divestitures, and has counseled them on matters of business planning, including succession planning. He has also represented banks and other commercial lenders and underwriters in various types of loan and financing transactions, including public finance issuances. He also maintains a sophisticated estate planning practice.
Mr. Vogel is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, in which he is a member of the Business Law Section, and of the American Bar Association and its Section of Business Law, its Small Business Committee and the subcommittee on tax matters. Mr. Vogel is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s task force on drafting limited liability company documents, and has been a featured speaker at Pennsylvania Bar Institute seminars on the topic. He is also a member of the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council.
Mr. Vogel was listed by Philadelphia Magazine in 2004, 2005, and 2006 as being among Pennsylvania's Super Lawyers in the area of closely-held businesses. Mr. Vogel was named to Marquis Who’s Who in American Law in 2006. He holds an AV® rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
