Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Vacek was an associate with a Boston-based law firm.  While there, she focused on representation of affordable housing developers, commercial and individual clients in zoning and contract-related negotiations, summary process actions and litigation in Superior, District and Housing courts.  She also counseled corporate and tax-exempt clients regarding recent IRS Revenue Rulings and healthcare and employment regulations.

During her course of studies, Ms. Vacek served as law clerk to the Justices of the Juvenile Court Division of the Massachusetts Trial Court, where she was responsible for researching and drafting judicial opinions in child welfare and delinquency matters.
