Laura G. Stover is a Member in the firm’s Litigation Division. 

Ms. Stover’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and appellate advocacy.  Her practice involves commercial litigation in the aviation industry, insurance, bankruptcy and lender liability, as well as products liability, employment litigation, franchise and hospitality industry issues. 

Ms. Stover has successfully represented clients in insurance coverage litigation, suits under the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act and in class actions against foreign airlines at both trial and appellate levels.  She is also a key member of the litigation team successfully defending insurers in “direct action” asbestos cases, where plaintiffs are attempting to impose new duties on insurers in jurisdictions across the country.  She also represents clients in alternative dispute resolution such as arbitrations and private and court directed mediation. 

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Stover was a Law Clerk for the Honorable Nan R. Shuker for the District of Columbia Superior Court.
