Shannon B. Stewart is an Associate of the firm and focuses her practice is on professional malpractice litigation. She has experience in medical and legal malpractice, school law, charter school law, special education law, and workers' compensation. She has lectured and provided in-service training to schools regarding the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act and Section 504 of the Americans with Disabilities Act.Ms. Stewart earned her Juris Doctorate from Temple University Beasley School of Law. While at Temple, Shannon engaged in considerable research in the fields of patents and copyrights while working as a research assistant. Shannon also served as an intern in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas with the Honorable William J. Manfredi, Supervising Judge, Civil Division.
Prior to seeking a legal career, Ms. Stewart was an elementary school teacher and engaged in graduate studies in Elementary Education and Child and Adolescent Development.
