Christian A. Sado is an Associate of the firm in the Business Division. Prior to joining Eckert Seamans, Mr. Sado was associated with a large law firm and a prominent intellectual property boutique, both located in New York City. His practice focuses on trademark litigation and enforcement, including: trademark and trade dress infringement, dilution, and anti-counterfeiting litigation before federal courts; handling oppositions and cancellations before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (“TTAB”); communicating with international counsel regarding equivalent foreign proceedings; and managing enforcement efforts for clients relating to their copyright, trademark and trade dress rights. Mr. Sado’s experience also includes representations in copyright infringement matters, patent infringement matters, the filing of trademark and copyright applications and drafting of patent infringement and validity opinions.Mr. Sado has contributed articles to several industry publications, including The Intellectual Property Strategist and World Trademark Law Report.
