Carol A. Marmo is a Member in the Intellectual Property Group. Ms. Marmo concentrates her practice in intellectual property matters, including mechanical and chemical technologies. She has experience in patent preparation and prosecution, patentability and validity opinions, client counseling and licensing.
Prior to joining Eckert Seamans, Ms. Marmo served as in-house intellectual property counsel at two Fortune 100 companies in the chemicals and coatings industry. Before practicing law, she worked as a chemical engineer for one the country’s most prominent suppliers to the nuclear power industry. Her work supported the design and operation of nuclear utility plants, including nuclear reactor system design, nuclear safety evaluation and regulatory compliance.
