Jeffrey P. Lewis is a Member in the firm’s Litigation Division. He focuses his practice on the defense of tort claims, including product liability and professional negligence, as well as coverage questions, including environmental coverage matters.
Mr. Lewis is a member of the Pennsylvania and Chester County Bar Associations. He is on the Professional Liability Committee of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and has served on the Board of Directors of the Chester County Bar Association (1984-86; 1998-2000) and on the Executive Committee (1985); he has chaired the Judicial Evaluation, Continuing Legal Education and Membership Committees.
Mr. Lewis has lectured for Continuing Legal Education programs sponsored by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and by the Chester County Bar Association as well as for the Professional Liability Committee of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. He also writes a monthly column entitled "Avoiding Malpractice" for the Pennsylvania Bar News.
Additionally, Mr. Lewis serves as a delegate from Zone 9 in the Pennsylvania Bar Association House of Delegates (2000 - ). He is Chairman of the Board of Community Impact Legal Services, Inc., is a member of the Board of Directors for Southeast Pennsylvania Legal Services, Inc., is on the Villanova Paralegal Advisory Board, on the Editorial Board of the Legal Intelligencer, and previously served on the Municipal Authority of Upper Uwchlan Township.
Mr. Lewis holds an AV® rating from Martindale-Hubbell, and has been recognized by his peers as one of Pennsylvania's Super Lawyers® in 2005 and 2008, ranking in the top five percent of attorneys practicing in the state.
