Daniel A. Leonardo is an Associate in the Litigation Division. He focuses his practice in the area of general commercial litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Leonardo concentrated his practice in the area of commercial litigation representing national financial and banking institutions in state and federal courts in matters involving contract disputes, suits governed by the UCC, TILA claims, FDCPA, and actions under the Unfair Trade Practices Act. He also represented creditors in bankruptcy.
Mr. Leonardo is the Co-Chair of the legal arm for the Boston Chapter of the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA).
Mr. Leonardo is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and Northeastern University School of Law, where he represented Northeastern in a Moot Court competition and supervised first year students as a Teaching Facilitator in a group project exploring prosecutorial discretion and its effect on undocumented immigrants.
During law school Mr. Leonardo undertook four separate three-month internships with the Honorable Bruce M. Selya, the U.S. Court Appeals for the First Circuit, the Boston Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights, and private Boston law firms.
