Steven R. Kramer is a Member of Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott, LLC. He is the managing partner of the firm’s White Plains office.Mr. Kramer focuses his practice in the areas of product liability, environmental, mass tort and toxic tort litigation. His practice is regional in scope throughout the Northeastern United States in both federal and state courts. Mr. Kramer has tried cases to verdict throughout the New York Metropolitan area, including Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan Counties, as well as the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
Mr. Kramer’s product liability practice includes representing clients in the automotive, truck, recreational vehicle and consumer electronic industries. He has represented both domestic and foreign original equipment manufacturers, as well as component part manufacturers and their insurers.
Mr. Kramer’s environmental practices include defending cases involving exposure to substances such as benzene, diacetyl, Mtbe, carbon monoxide and lead paint. Mr. Kramer has also participated in Superfund cases under the CERCLA and RCRA Acts.
Mr. Kramer has authored articles published in the National Law Journal, New York State Bar Journal magazine, New York Law Journal and the Defendant magazine. He has been a Continuing Legal Education lecturer for the New York State Bar Association.
Mr. Kramer is admitted to practice in New York State and before all federal District Courts within the State. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. He sits on various committees including the Toxic Tort and Environmental Law committees.
