The Honorable Robert A. Graci is a Member in the Litigation Division in Harrisburg.  He heads the firm's Appellate Practice Group.  His practice focuses on appeals, general litigation, including white collar defense, regulatory law, alternative dispute resolution and governmental relations.

Judge Graci served on the Superior Court of Pennsylvania from 2002 to 2004.  He was appointed to the court by Governor Mark Schweiker and unanimously confirmed by the Pennsylvania Senate.  The Pennsylvania Bar Association gave him its “Highly Recommended” rating for a position on the Superior Court.  Prior to his appointment to the bench, he was the Assistant Executive Deputy Attorney General for Law and Appeals of the Criminal Law Division of the PA Office of Attorney General.  As a deputy attorney general for almost 18 years, Judge Graci argued several cases in all of the state and federal appellate courts in Pennsylvania as well as the Supreme Court of the United States.

He is active in the PBA.  He previously chaired the PBA Criminal Law Section and was founding Co-chair of the PBA Post-Trial and Appellate Advocacy Committee.  Judge Graci still serves as a member of the Criminal Law Section and the Appellate Advocacy Committee, as well as the Gaming Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution Committees of the PBA.  He also serves as a member of Steering Committee of the Bar Association of the Third Federal Circuit.  Judge Graci has served on a number of judicial committees and was twice appointed by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to its Criminal Procedural Rules Committee.  In addition, he has lectured on criminal law and appellate topics for the PBI, PA Conference of State Trial Judges, Pa District Attorneys Institute, Delaware State Bar Association and other forums.  He has authored several articles and CLE course materials and has been recognized for his accomplishments by the PBA and the several Attorneys General he served.

Judge Graci has been recognized by his peers as one of Pennsylvania's Super Lawyers® in 2007 and 2008, ranking among the top five percent of attorneys practicing in the state.
