Candace K. Gottschall is an Associate in the firm's Estates and Trusts, and Employee Benefits Departments. Her practice is focused in the areas of estate planning and estate and trust administration. Her estate planning practice often includes the utilization of closely held business entities. In addition, she has experience counseling individuals concerned with a variety of elder law issues, from obtaining guardianships to planning for long term care. Prior to joining Eckert Seamans, Ms. Gottschall worked as an attorney for a Pennsylvania energy provider, where she was involved in diverse matters such as workers' compensation and energy supply, as well as representing the company at regulatory proceedings and assisting in civil litigation. Before attending law school, she was a course assistant at the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration, where she evaluated students’ business analyses, and wrote case studies for publication and for student use.
