
Lewis H. Gold is a Member in the firm’s Business Division. His areas of practice include corporate and business law, commercial litigation, and bankruptcy. Prior to joining Eckert Seamans, Mr. Gold was a shareholder with the law firm of Adelman Lavine Gold Schildhorn and Kleban, P.C. He has also served as an attorney with the United States Department of Justice in the Attorney General's Honors Program.
Mr. Gold represents clients with respect to mergers and acquisitions; corporate transactions; reorganizations and restructuring; real estate transactions; employment agreements; financing transactions; business bankruptcy; insolvency and estate planning.
Mr. Gold is a member of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations and is active in various organizations, which have included volunteer leadership positions with Settlement Music School, Philadelphia Geriatric Center (now known as Abramson Center for Jewish Life), The Pennsylvania State University, the Penn State Alumni Association of which he served as President, and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Mr. Gold has been recognized by his peers as one of Pennsylvania’s Super Lawyers® each year from 2004 to 2008, ranking among the top five percent of attorneys practicing in the state. He also holds an AV® rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
