Ronald S. Gellert is a Member of the firm and the Member-In-Charge of the Wilmington Delaware office. He practices in the Bankruptcy & Restructuring Department. Mr. Gellert concentrates in debtor/creditor matters, primarily in the “mega” chapter 11 bankruptcy cases pending in Delaware and throughout the nation. In addition, Mr. Gellert practices in general commercial law and commercial litigation. Mr. Gellert is a resident of both the Philadelphia and Wilmington, Delaware offices of the firm. He was named a Rising Star by Pennsylvania SuperLawyers in 2005 and 2006.Mr. Gellert has a wide variety of representations in bankruptcy and insolvency matters such as the representation of:
- Chapter 11 debtors, including several mega cases in Wilmington, DE and other debtor entities in several other jurisdictions. Most recently lead Debtors Counsel in Aphton Corporation, a publicly traded pharmaceutical company

- Out of court workouts from both Debtor and Creditor side
- Current and former Officers and Directors of debtor entities
- Commercial real estate owners/landlords

Following graduation from law school, Mr. Gellert served as a law clerk to the Honorable Judith H. Wizmur and the Honorable Gloria M. Burns of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.
