Ellen D. Bailey is an Associate of the firm in the Litigation Division. She focuses her practice primarily on business litigation, with an emphasis in the areas of general commercial litigation, mass tort litigation and products liability. Her prior experience includes commercial litigation, insurance coverage litigation on behalf of policyholders, employment litigation, white-collar criminal matters and appellate practice. Prior to joining private practice, Ms. Bailey was an assistant prosecutor with the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office.Immediately preceding her tenure with Eckert Seamans, Ms. Bailey served as a law clerk to the Honorable Yvonne Mokgoro of the Constitutional Court of South Africa, in Johannesburg, South Africa. Ms. Bailey’s clerkship presented an extraordinary opportunity to learn about international and comparative law while assisting in the development and implementation of law across global borders.
During her course of studies, Ms. Bailey served as a law clerk to the Honorable John E. Wallace, Jr. in the New Jersey Supreme Court, and as a legal intern for both the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and the New Jersey Lawyers’ Fund for Client Protection.
